Dave Scott – Director – Transcendit Ltd

Dave formed Transcendit with four others in September 2000. He is from, and lives in Low Fell, Gateshead. He has been working in IT since he left school in 1989. Dave also has a whole host of IT-related certifications that are too numerous to mention.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and socialising with his friends. Dave likes to keep fit, and is into circuit and resistance training as well as squash. He says that he can’t do anything particularly cool or interesting anymore because he is middle aged. However, he is enjoying learning bass guitar, something that was born from his mid-life crisis. He is also a season ticket holder for Newcastle United for his sins.

Dave says “Being able to help FACT in any capacity is always something I personally and professionally do as regularly as I can, so when Joanne asked me to join the Big Build Funding Committee I could not turn it down.  To be able to work closely with Joanne and the other great people on the Committee for this amazing project is humbling, not to mention a privilege.  I can’t wait for the centre to be up and running as this pioneering project will change the lives of so many doing so much good for many years to come.”
